Pumping ice cream with Verderair diaphragm pumps
Verderair diaphragm pumps are excellent pumps for the food industry and are often used for pumping ice cream. Verderair pumps are designed to be very easy to clean and can be used as part of any clean in place (CIP) process. The Verderair diaphragm pumps are easy to dismantle.
The production process of ice cream begins with the making of a base mixture. This (viscous) mixture contains a percentage of cream. When pumping this mixture it is very important not to excessively whip the cream mixture as the cream can turn into butter. A benefit of Verderair double diaphragm pumps is that the working principle will not cause turbulence. This can lead to quality loss. Verderair diaphragm pumps will transfer the viscous mixture whilst maintaining the base mixture quality.
