Available Pump materials for Verderair VA series pump

Acetal

Wide range of solvents resistant and whitstands extreme fatigue. Good level of abrasion resistance. Not for use with acids or bases. Groundable for use with flammables (ATEX).

Polypropylene

Wide chemical compatible. Low cost alternative for general purpose chemical transfer. Not groundable, not for use with solvents and/or flammables.

Conductive polypropylene

Wide chemical compatible. Groundable for use with flammables. (ATEX)

PVDF (Kynar)

Excellent chemical resistance. (near PTFE but cheaper). Good abrasion and high temperature resistance. Not groundable, not for use with flammables.

Aluminium

Medium corrosion and abrasion resistance. Not for use with halogenated hydrocarbons strong acids or bases. Low cost alternative for general applications.(ATEX)

Stainless Steel 316

High level of corrosion and abrasion resistance. Can handle halogenated carbons. Easy groundable. (ATEX)

Cast Iron

High abrasion resistance. Medium corrosion resistance. Often used to handle waste slurries. Groundable. (ATEX)

Polyethylene

Wide chemical resistance. Similar to polypropylene. Extremely abrasion resistant, better then metal pumps! Not groundable.

Conductive Polyethylene

Idem as polyethylene but groundable! (ATEX)

PTFE

Chemical inert. Can be used in almost all chemical applications. Limited abrasion resistant. Not groundable.

Conductive PTFE

Idem as PTFE but groundable! (ATEX)
